Refund Policy

  • Refund requests for any class MUST be made Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at least 48 hours prior to the program’s second meeting. After the program’s second meeting, no refund will be issued.
  • An administrative fee will be assessed on all credits or refunds. Credits will be charged a $1 administrative fee, and all refunds by check will be charged a $5 administrative fee. Refunds for special events, one day program/events, and trips will be issued only if cancelled by the Park District.
  • There will be a 30-day waiting period on all refunds. All refunds will be mailed. No cash or credit card refund will be given.
  • Refunds/prize money checks not cashed within 180 days will be voided and considered a donation to the park district.
  • T-shirts/Uniforms issued in a program cannot be returned/re-funded for any reason.
  • All deposits are non-refundable except when programs are cancelled by the park district.
  • Any refunds totaling $20 or less will automatically be applied to your household account unless the park district cancelled the program.
  • No refunds will be issued if you owe a balance (this includes preschool & dance balances).
  • If you paid for a friend or family member and are requesting a refund, the refund will be made out to the participant not the payee.
  • Refunds will not be given for medical reasons/doctor notes.
